One of the friends who was present in the car when the news of the late Afrobeat singer Mohbad’s demise was announced has broken his silence on the allegations of fleeing to Dubai. The initial report of Mohbad’s death was made by a group of friends who were in a car with his lifeless body.
Amidst suspicions and rumors surrounding the group, one of them, identified as Ade West, addressed the allegations of fleeing the country for Dubai. During a live Instagram session, Ade West clarified to concerned fans that these claims were untrue. He went on to reveal his Nigerian work identification card on the live session, emphasizing that he never left Nigeria for Dubai.
In his statement, he said, “I don’t know why y’all are still believing them. I’m in Lagos, not Dubai. Thank you very much.” This clarification aims to dispel any misconceptions or rumors about his whereabouts following the tragic incident involving Mohbad.
