Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel, popularly known as Shank Comics, has opened up about his past experiences, including his involvement in fraudulent activities commonly referred to as “yahoo” before finding success as a comedian and skit maker.

Shank Comics, who holds a degree in electronics and electrical engineering, admitted that after graduating from the university, he briefly dabbled in yahoo, which is a term often associated with internet fraud. In 2019, he traveled to Osogbo and joined a group of individuals to learn about yahoo activities.

During his time learning these fraudulent activities, he spent six months trying to make money through these means but was unsuccessful in his endeavors. Despite his efforts, he did not earn any income from it.

Shank Comics further revealed that the person who had taught him these fraudulent practices compensated him with an iPhone 6 at the end of the six-month period.

It’s important to note that engaging in fraudulent activities is illegal and unethical. Shank Comics‘ story serves as a reminder of the importance of choosing legal and ethical paths to success, as he ultimately found his calling and success in comedy and skit making.
