Former BBNaija season 8 housemate Cynthia Nwadiora, known as CeeC, has expressed her skepticism about the sincerity of fellow housemate Pere’s apology towards her.
CeeC shared her candid thoughts during her diary session with Big Brother. She conveyed her belief that Pere’s apology doesn’t come across as genuine, viewing it as a potential strategy rather than a heartfelt expression of remorse.
Earlier, it had been reported that Pere had offered apologies to CeeC and other housemates for his past behavior in the house.
In her conversation with Big Brother, the 30-year-old lawyer explained that despite having a relatively positive rapport with Pere now, she finds it difficult to accept his apology. CeeC cited her perception that Pere has not been completely forthcoming about the details of their past interactions and argued that his apology lacks the sincerity she expects.
CeeC stated:
“Pere’s apology, you know! That apology sounded more like a strategic move. While things are amicable between us, I still can’t fully embrace his apology, mainly because he hasn’t been completely honest about the specifics of what truly transpired between us. We are in good terms, but I’m not inclined to accept that apology.”
