Well-known skit creator Olayiwola Wasabi, often known as Layi, has disclosed that several lawyers in Ibadan and Osogbo serve as the basis for his skits.
In a Cool Fm interview, the upcoming skitmaker disclosed this in response to a question about the source of his well-known skits.
He clarified that he attended Bowen University’s School of Law and worked at the Ministry of Justice in Ibadan, where he encountered numerous other lawyers of a similar caliber.
In addition, he mentioned that he completed all of his internships in Osogbo and that attorneys used to loiter around the courthouse grounds in search of clients.
Layi admits that he didn’t always get to talk to this lawyers one one one, so he had to just observe them.
According to him, from the observation, he deduced what their daily lives might look like and that is what gave him comedic material.
