Controversial Nigerian artist Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, was involved in a street altercation in Italy with his promoter. The conflict arose because the promoter took all the money that was showered on Portable during his performance at an event.
A video captured Portable yelling and engaging in a heated conversation with the promoter, who reportedly confiscated the money that had been sprayed on the artist. Portable claimed that any cash placed in his pocket belonged to him, but he acknowledged that the promoter was entitled to any money that attendees had sprayed.
The situation escalated to the point where Portable threatened the person who had invited him to the event. He charged towards the man’s car and struck it with his leg in frustration.
Portable expressed his frustration, saying, “Useless human being, all the money they sprayed on me, this useless man has taken it away.”
The promoter argued that the money sprayed on Portable was his, but the money placed in Portable’s pocket was his own. This altercation highlights the tensions that can arise in the entertainment industry, particularly in regards to earnings and compensation.
