Naira Marley, the Nigerian artist and head of the Marlian record label, has finally responded to the accusations that were made against him regarding the death of his former signee, Mohbad.
Following Mohbad’s untimely death, various videos and voice notes emerged online implicating Naira Marley. There were allegations that he had a hand in the tragedy, with some suggesting that he had sent his thugs and best friend, Sam Larry, after Mohbad. Additionally, there was a video in which Mohbad had stated that Naira Marley should be held responsible if anything happened to him.
In response to these accusations, Naira Marley released a statement in which he vehemently denied any involvement in Mohbad’s death. He labeled the accusations as lies and threats against him. Naira Marley clarified that, while he had some issues with Mohbad in the past, it never escalated to the point where he wished harm upon him.
