“I wanted to be an actress but he refused to let me” — Susan Emma speaks more on her former marriage with Emeka Ike

Susan Emma, the ex-wife of Emeka Ike, has provided more insight into their past marriage, revealing that she aspired to become an actress but was denied the opportunity by her former husband.

During an interview with Chude, Susan Emma disclosed the extent of abuse she endured throughout their marriage.

She detailed that the abuse initially began with verbal and mental mistreatment before escalating to financial exploitation and eventually turning physical.

Susan Emma went on to narrate how Emeka Ike prevented her from pursuing employment, reflecting a form of control and restriction within their relationship. Her revelations shed light on the challenges and dynamics that existed during their time together.

She originally intended to be an actress which was why she initially got close to him but he refused, claiming it’ll spoil their relationship.

Furthermore, Susan recalls being forced to make a move for their wedding to hold as she was already heavily pregnant with their second child before he agreed to tie the knot.

On the day of their wedding, he came late from ghetto state he was shooting in and the wedding wasn’t even blessed by his family.
