
Davido, the famous Nigerian afrobeats superstar also known as David Adeleke, has shared that he is currently constructing a mansion in the upscale Eko Atlantic city, Lagos, for himself and his wife, Chef Chioma. During his appearance on the Drink Champs podcast hosted by N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, Davido revealed his interest in real estate and how he believes it to be a lucrative field.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the real estate market in Lagos, Davido emphasized that significant and impressive infrastructures have been developed. He highlighted the potential for high returns on investment, explaining how properties can be purchased for around $1.5 million and sold for as much as $4 million. Davido himself is in the process of building a new house for him and his wife at Eko Atlantic city, which he described as “quiet dope” due to its location by the beach and the presence of other remarkable buildings.
It is worth noting that Davido’s previous mansion in Banana Island was reportedly listed for sale after the tragic incident of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, drowning in a swimming pool at the residence.
