Veteran Nollywood actor Yemi Solade recently revealed that despite dedicating 46 years of his life to acting, he is still facing struggles in the industry.
He shared this during the premiere of Kunle Afolayan’s movie, “Ijogbon,” where he advised aspiring actors to focus on building their skills rather than seeking glamour and gains. Yemi emphasized that young actors need to be prepared to put in the work and pay their dues in order to succeed.
This admission came shortly after he posted cryptic messages on social media related to battling depression. In another post, he expressed the belief that in Nigeria, affiliations with certain groups or cliques are often necessary for survival.
