Daniel Yunusa, a Nigerian, reported on Sunday, January 21, that he had managed to flee the kidnappers’ stronghold.
Daniel said in a widely shared video that he and five of his brothers and friends were abducted and taken into the jungle when they were traveling to Kogi state.
Daniel claimed he ran away and managed to get some footage in the bush. Daniel asked Nigerians to help him in one of the published films, saying he had no idea where he was or how he could get back to safety.
Later, he uploaded a video of himself with his car that the kidnappers had shot at.
He could be seen sharing his story with some military officers as well as passersby. He implored Nigerians not to go by road again and pleaded for assistance in rescuing his brothers, who he claims are still with the kidnappers.
