Opeyemi Falegan, Nkechi Blessing’s ex-boyfriend, elicits reactions by using the late Mohbad and his father as a case study on raising children and receiving elderly care.
It is important to remember that the late Mohbad went away under mysterious circumstances a few months ago and that his passing has sparked debate ever since.
In a recent Instagram post, Opeyemi shared some advise for males, pointing out that their efforts on behalf of their children might not pay off in the long run.
Opeyemi exhorted males to brace for nearly the same destiny, obliquely noting the late Mohbad’s reunion with his mother ten years after she had abandoned them and his father’s acceptance of responsibility for his demise.
“(message to Men) That u took care of your child doesn’t mean ur child would take care of u.
Take care of yourself first abeg. ( this man na case study ooo ),” he wrote.
The statement, however, crossed many as insensitive and unwarranted while many berated the idea of Mohbad’s father being responsible to his family.
