The organizers and production team of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) paid tribute to the late ex-Marlian Music artiste, Mohbad, by dedicating a week’s show to him. This tribute took place during the closing remarks of Week 8’s live eviction show, which was hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
During the show, after the eviction of four housemates, including Omashola, Whitemoney, Neoenergy, and Alex, pictures of Mohbad were displayed on LED screens throughout the viewing hall where fans of the show had gathered to watch the live event.
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the host of the show, concluded the evening by dedicating it to the memory of Mohbad, saying, “Tonight’s show is dedicated to the life of Mohbad, rest in peace.”
This tribute served as a remembrance of the late singer and a way to honor his contribution to the music industry.
