Reality TV personality Sheggz has come to the defense of his girlfriend, Bella Okagbue, amid criticism aimed at her accent and voice. Sheggz commended Bella for her authenticity on X (formerly Twitter) and condemned the act of mimicking someone else’s accent.
Expressing his discontent, Sheggz voiced his disapproval of the prevalent body shaming and derogatory comments directed at women in 2023.
He emphasized that such behavior is unacceptable and should not be tolerated.
“So it’s now cool to be faking an accent. I love the fact that my woman is real, and true to herself. I think it’s sad that in 2023 people want to body shame a woman and speak down on her. It will never be ok, and if she overreacted then it’s understandable because enough is enough.”

Bella angrily defended her Nigerian accent and vented her aggravation at being constantly body- and voice-shamed.
To minimize the event, the troll stated that the remark was not meant to be cruel.
