Popular rapper, Naira Marley, and socialite Sam Larry have reportedly been granted bail after spending weeks in detention over their suspected involvement in the death of the late singer Mohbad. According to online sources, both Naira Marley and Sam Larry have been released on bail with specific conditions.
The bail conditions require each of them to provide three sureties and a sum of 20 million naira. Additionally, they must surrender their foreign passports and appear at the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) every week as part of their bail requirements.
The magistrate overseeing the case issued a stern warning, stating that any attempt to contact her would be noted and might even be revealed during public court sessions.
Naira Marley and Sam Larry had been arrested in connection with the death of Mohbad, and their involvement was speculated due to a video showing Sam Larry attempting to assault Mohbad while he was on set.
It would be recalled that Naira Marely and Sam Larry had been arrested upon their return to the country after they were linked to the death of late singer, Mohbad.
