Nollywood comedian and actor AY Makun has expressed dissatisfaction with Nigeria’s current state of affairs and asked when things will improve in the country.
AY claimed in a statement posted on his Instagram page that even though he was raised to believe that Nigeria would improve, as he approaches his fifties, conditions there are actually getting worse.
He wondered what kind of Groundhog Day existence we live in in this country, where things seem to change more than they stay the same.
AY continued by asking how many people earn enough money to cover their necessities.
His post reads: “Nigeria go better us what one grew up hearing. I’m still hearing it in my fifties. What kind of Groundhog Day existence do we live in in this country though? The more things seem to change, they remain the same.”
Captioning the post, AY Makun wrote: “How many of us do have wages more than sufficient enough to cover the bare cost of living in Nigeria?”.
