Adaeze Eluke, a Nollywood actress, defends churches that hold reserved seating for notable figures and dignitaries.
The actress made her comment in response to a young woman who criticized churches for doing the same in a tweet.
She said it was unjust, particularly to those churchgoers who made the effort to arrive early in order to get a front-row seat.
Adaeze refuted her assertion, saying that churches have every right to reserve seats for dignitaries and celebrities.
She stated that when people invite others to important occasions like weddings, they don’t just put anybody on the high table or front row.
She believes such spaces are reserved for only important people if not anyone else could have access.
According to her, that is how the church should operate and if people are not comfortable with it, they should stop coming early or not come at all.
