Following the tragic loss of Mohbad, Oxlade decided to share a message he had received from Mohbad back in 2018. In the message, Mohbad praised Oxlade for his exceptional singing talent, describing his voice as extraordinary and expressing his admiration.

However, Oxlade did not respond to the Instagram message, and to make matters worse, he had also placed restrictions on Mohbad’s account. This was evident from a restriction badge on Mohbad’s profile.

After realizing his mistake, Oxlade promptly took down the screenshot, unblocked Mohbad’s account, and posted a new screenshot of the same message.

The incident sparked criticism from some who questioned why Oxlade had initially restricted Mohbad’s account, especially in light of his tragic passing.
