Seyi Vibez, a rising singer also known as Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi, recently expressed his admiration for Tiwa Savage, a renowned female artist, by comparing her to Wizkid, one of Nigeria’s biggest music stars.
During an interview with Sound City TV, the “Chance” crooner commended the contributions of Nigerian female artists to the growth of the entertainment industry. He specifically mentioned Tems as an artist with international appeal. Seyi Vibez highlighted Tiwa Savage as the equivalent of Wizkid among female artists, emphasizing how each artist has carved out their own unique space and excelled in their respective genres. He also mentioned that Simi is currently on tour.
Seyi Vibez shared that he began his musical journey during his secondary school days at the age of 14 and gained recognition as an independent artist without the support of a record label. While he does not have a record label, he has a management team that assists in promoting his music.
