The Nollywood film industry is mourning the loss of prominent producer and marketer Andy Ikechukwu Nnadi, known to fans as Andy Best.
The news was confirmed on Instagram by Seun Oloketuyi, who heads the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards.
Nnadi reportedly passed away on March 19th, 2024, in a hospital located in Owerri.
While the official cause of death remains undisclosed, it’s believed he fought a prolonged illness.
A leading figure in Nollywood production, Andy Best leaves behind a significant legacy. He is credited with producing popular films like “My Father’s Cup,” “The Lion of Africa,” and “White Poison.”
