Victor Eugenie Adere, known as Victor AD, a rising Afrobeat artist, recently opened up about the most challenging phase of his music career during an interview. He revealed that his collaboration with Davido on the song “I Tire” presented difficulties, largely due to circumstances beyond their control.
In the same interview, Victor discussed the widely reported 2021 incident involving an alleged altercation with Davido. He clarified that he was not the original songwriter of “Jowo,” contrary to previous online reports.
During his conversation with Naija FM, the young Afrobeat musician shared the reasons behind his delayed response to the story, which eventually led to Davido unfollowing him on all of his social media accounts.
He also explained why he couldn’t disprove the story sooner, which led to Davido unfollowing him on all of his social media accounts.
