Brymo
Olawale Ọlọ́fọọ̀rọ̀ Ashimi (born May 9, 1986), often known as Brymo, is a creative Nigerian novelist, producer, performer, and songwriter.
He is regarded among Nigerian musicians for his lyricism and delivery.
He began singing at age 14 and released his first song at age 18. He also published a work of fiction called Oriri’s Plight.
After joining Chocolate City Entertainment in 2010, Brymo became a well-known Nigerian figure. Additionally, he was featured in Ice Prince’s Oleku single.
His hook on Oleku has been ranked as one of the best hooks ever performed by a Nigerian rapper.
The 2012 Hip Hop World Awards Recording of the Year was awarded to Brymo’s breakthrough single, Ara.

Childhood and Education
Brymo was born on May 9, 1986, in Okokomaiko, Lagos, Nigeria, as the only child. His father was an Awori carpenter, and his mother was an Egun merchant.
Brymo attended an Islamic school and learnt how to recite the Holy Quran in its entirety.
He initially attended Aganju Aka Primary School before transferring to Japual Primary School.
He subsequently proceeded to Ajangbadi High School in Ajangbadi, Lagos, graduating in 2003.
Brymo studied Zoology at Lagos State University before leaving to pursue a career in music.
Career
In 1999, Brymo began his musical career in high school by recording the song “Future.”
Hearing his mother sing Fuji songs motivated him to seek a career in music. In 2002, he established The Aliens with his friends.
In contrast, The Aliens disbanded in 2005 following a series of issues. He pursued a solo career without signing with a record label after that.
Brymo gained notoriety in 2010 after performing on Ice Prince’s debut studio album, Everybody Loves Ice Prince, on the famous song Oleku.
Personal Affairs
Brymo is married to Esse Kakada, with whom he has a son, Waju Ọlọ́fọọ̀rọ̀, born on March 27, 2015.

In 2007, he released Brymstone, his debut studio album. One of the album’s songs, Shawty, became rather popular.
