Early Life And Education
Dima-Okojie hails from Nigeria’s Edo State, specifically its Esan North-East LGA. Her parents are both professionals; her dad is a doctor and her mom is a banker and business owner who recently retired.
She started her education at Air Force Primary School, Lagos, before transferring to Air Force Comprehensive Secondary School, Ibadan. She received her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Covenant University in Nigeria. She left her position as an investment banker to seek a career in show business. This motivation resulted in her attending the New York Film Academy to study acting.

Dima-Okojie left her profession in finance to seek one in the entertainment business. After working as a production assistant on the film Before 30, she made her acting debut as “Feyisayo Pepple” in the Taste of Love TV series.
In the 2016 film North East, she portrayed the role of “Hadiza Ahmed,” a Muslim woman who begins a romantic relationship with a guy of a different faith. Her performance in the film earned her a nomination for “Best Actress in a Supporting Role” at the 2017 Nigeria Entertainment Awards. During this same time period, Dima-Okojie was also nominated for Most Promising Actress at the City People Movie Awards. There was a 2017 nomination for her at Africa’s Future Awards.
In 2016, she portrayed Hadiza on Ndani TV’s Skinny Girl in Transit. Not only did she appear in Five, but also It’s Her Day and North East, all in the same year. She had roles in Battleground and The Royal Hibiscus Hotel in 2017. After her performance, she was considered for an acting award at the Future Awards. Pulse Nigeria, a Nigerian magazine, said she was one of the seven best Nollywood actresses of 2017.
She portrayed the lead role of Gbemi Ogunlana in Sylvia, a film about a pair of fictional spirit lovers, and she also appeared in another film that year. Towards the end of the year, Yemi Morafa cast her as Ms. Catherine in the film Funke, which also starred Jide Kosoko, Eniola Badmus, and Segun Arinze and was directed by Yemi Morafa.

She is the lone girl among three brothers and sisters. Her father, a retired Air Commodore in the Nigerian Air Force and a military-trained doctor, is a devout Catholic like his daughter and his wife. Her mother practiced law in the financial industry. Pulse Nigeria and other media sources have called Dima-Okojie one of the most stylish celebrities in Nigeria, so it’s no surprise that she’s regarded as having a keen eye for fashion.
