Kemi Afolabi Education
In elementary school, Kemi Afolabi studied at Tunwase Nursery & Primary School, and in secondary school, she went to Our Lady of the Apostles School and A-Z International School.
But she got in and went to the University of Lagos, where she got a Bachelor of Laws with Honors.
Career
At the end of her first year of college, she was invited by some of her fellow drama majors at the University of Lagos to participate in a stage show.
Evidently, Kemi’s decision to pursue acting rather than law was influenced by the results of this experiment.
She first appeared in the Yoruba film “Alagba,” but then she mysteriously disappeared from the screen for over five years, from 2008 to 2013. The unexpected part, though, was that she managed to maintain a successful profession while being absent for long periods of time. Shortly after getting back to Hollywood, she began penning screenplays and auditioning for acting parts.
