Biography
Lee Min-ho (born June 22, 1987) is a cultivated actor, model, entertainer, TV personality, and artist from South Korea. He is currently regarded as one of the greatest Hallyu stars.
Even though he attempted to become a professional player since adolescence, a physical ailment he had in elementary school forced him to give up sports and pursue his father’s dream of being an actor.
After graduating from Konkuk University with a degree in Film and Art and joining Starhaus Entertainment, he had a few minor TV roles until landing the role of Gu Jun-Pyo in “Young Men Over Flowers.” The role garnered him several awards, including the award for Best New Actor (TV) at the 45th Baeksang Arts Awards, as well as widespread praise and notoriety in Korea and other parts of Asia.
The role served as a stepping stone to his thriving career, which included starring roles in several more series, most notably “The Legend of the Blue Sea,” “City Hunter,” and “The Heirs.” With flicks like “Abundance Hunters” and “Gangnam Blues,” this South Korean Lee Min-ho has also left his mark on the silver screen.

Childhood and education
Lee Min-ho was born in Heukseok-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul, South Korea, on June 22, 1987.
Since his childhood, he has endeavored to become a professional football player. Cha Bum-Kun, a former South Korean football supervisor and player, selected him for his young football class due to his skill and vigor.
However, after having a physical problem in the fifth grade of elementary school, he had to modify his perspective.
Then, Lee Min-ho investigated acting, which developed naturally when he was in his second year of secondary school, and in his senior year, he signed with “Starhaus Entertainment.”
He attended Konkuk University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Art.
Career
Lee Min-underlying Ho’s acting ambitions saw him attempting to gain a foothold on Broadway with small roles in a few TV productions, including “Sentiment” (2002), “Constant 5” (2004), and “Formula of Love” (2005).

After rehabilitation, Lee Min-ho landed his first starring role as Cha Gong-chan in the SBS high school sitcom Mackerel Run (2007). Despite being scheduled for 24 episodes, the series was cancelled after only 8 episodes due to low ratings.
Lee Min-ho entered the film industry after working on television productions including “I’m Sam” (2007) and “Get Up” (2008). He portrayed Jung Ha-yeon in “Public Enemy Returns,” a spin-off of “Public Enemy” (2002) and “Another Public Enemy” (2005), starring Sol Kyung-gu and Jung Jae-young.
