Born Osariemen Martha Elizabeth Ighodaro (born October 26, Osas Ighodaro) is a Nigerian-American actress, producer, host, and humanitarian.
She was crowned Miss Black USA in 2010, and her foundation, The Joyful Joy Foundation, has since been working to end malaria through education and financial support. In addition, she co-hosted the 2014 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.
Osas Ighodaro portrayed Adanna (Danni) in the series Tinsel and was name the Best TV Actress of the Year at the 2014 ELOY Awards for her performance. Osas has become 2018’s highest-earning Nollywood actress. In 2022, the American Movie Critics Association named her “Best Actress in a Drama” for her performance in Rattlesnake: The Ahanna Story.

Early Life And Education
Osas Ighodaro was born in the Bronx, New York, to parents from Edo State, Nigeria. Pennsylvania State University granted her a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism with minors in entrepreneurship and theater. She went on to earn a master’s degree in fine arts from Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University.
In 2012, she moved to Nigeria with the idea of returning to the United States after six months, but she landed many acting roles, notably Adanna in Tinsel, and has remained in the nation ever since. She hosted the reality show Maltina Dance All.
She is the creator of the Joyful Joy Foundation and a member of the sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha.
In October 2019, she joined MTV Shuga for its fourth season.

Actor Gbenro Ajibade was married to the actress. He has been a model, actor, and producer since 2008, and his most notable role to date has been on the daytime show Tinsel. Back in July of 2015, Osas and Gbenro tied the knot.
Their family, friends, and fellow performers from the entertainment industry attended their wedding ceremony in the United States. Daughter No. 1 for Osas Ighodaro and Gbenro Ajibade was born on July 21, 2016.
The marriage between Osas Ighodaro and Gbenro Ajibade did not survive long before marital storms hit both partners, eventually resulting in divorce. After the couple broke up, they began to verbally abuse one another, unfollow one another on social media, and ultimately get a divorce.
