Stonebwoy, a Ghanaian music sensation, has been nominated for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards’ 23rd edition.
After a two-year hiatus from the VGMAs, the nomination came as a pleasant surprise.
Following an argument between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale during the 2019 edition, they were both banned in 2019.
However, the restriction has been removed, allowing Stonebwoy to compete in this year’s award.
The singer was nominated for both Song of the Year and Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year in the Reggae/Dancehall category.
He’ll be up against KiDi, Samini, Larusso, and Epixode, among others.
