Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, widely known as Burna Boy, has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first African musician to sell out a stadium show in the United States. The Grammy award-winning artist successfully sold out the Citi Field Stadium in NYC, USA, which has a capacity of 41,000, during his recent concert. Burna Boy’s sister, Nissi, also performed as the opening artist at the event. Additionally, Burna Boy brought out British rapper Dave to join him in a live rendition of their collaborative song, “Location.” During the concert, Burna Boy delighted the audience with performances of his popular tracks, including “Ye,” as well as songs from his albums “Outside,” “African Giant,” “Twice As Tall,” and “Love Damini.” This achievement further solidifies Burna Boy’s status as an internationally recognized artist and a trailblazer for African music.
