Davido’s first mother, Sophia Momodu, stirred up controversy on social media a few hours after Davido Chioma made his way back to Nigeria.
Davido and Chioma Rowland just arrived in Nigeria after the birth of their twins. A few hours after they arrived, Cubana Chief Priest posted a video to Instagram, which sparked excitement among the couple’s followers.
Sophia Momodu then made the switch to Instagram a few hours ago, sharing a series of self-portraits along with heartfelt captions for each photo.
In her caption, she wrote in French: “Ce ne sont pas eux qui nous ont élevé donc ils ne peuvent pas nous abattre 🌸” which in English means “They did not raise us, so they cannot bring us down 🌸.”
The last slide of her post included a video in which an athlete emphasized her perseverance, claiming that she is here to stay and has only improved with time.
The timing of Sophia Momodu’s post, which coincided with the return of Davido and Chioma, generated internet emotions, with many speculating about a link between her message and Davido’s personal life.
