A man identified as Mr. Favour Ibex has leveled accusations against his partner, a gospel singer, alleging that she abandoned him after he supported her education and nurtured her music career over a span of nine years.
Mr. Ibex also claims to be both the fiancé and manager of the gospel singer, Amaka Gift.
In a Facebook post on August 28, 2023, Favour, who is the proprietor of a broadcasting and media company, shared the story of how he met Amaka through her participation in the local church choir. They dated for three years before he took on the role of guiding her into the music world in 2017.

According to Mr. Ibex, he and Amaka were engaged and received blessings from their families. They chose to maintain their relationship privately to ensure that her gospel career and education were not affected.
“I refrained from any intimate involvement because I respected God. I was waiting for her to complete her education before we carried out our traditional rites,” he explained.
Favour detailed how he set up Amaka’s various social media accounts, managed their promotion, and watched them flourish. He asserted that he personally directed every video and handled all the posts on the platforms he had created.
He further stated that he invested money into initiatives like newspaper ads, radio promotions, CD production, outfit branding, and concerts complete with billboards and posters. He engaged in charitable activities, managed rehearsals, and provided financial support to bolster Amaka’s career.
Favour disclosed that he outfitted her apartment with furnishings and gadgets and even set up a studio within her home to facilitate her music and academic pursuits.
However, the situation took a turn for the worse when Favour introduced Amaka to another musician, Maxy Michael, for a collaborative project.
Favour alleged that he began to encounter videos and photos portraying Amaka and Maxy in compromising situations.

Upon confronting Amaka, Favour claims that she confessed to being romantically involved with Maxy.
In response, Amaka reportedly attempted to change the passwords for her social media accounts in order to cut Favour out, leading him to take down the pages himself.
