Nigerian singer Adebayo Adeleke, known as B-Red, recently shared that he had worked as a chef in the United States. In order to make ends meet, he took on six jobs simultaneously.
During a recent interview with Naija FM in Lagos, the son of Osun State governor Senator Ademola Adeleke revealed that his family did not provide financial support due to their disapproval of his music career. B-Red explained that while in America, he worked as a chef at Georgia Perimeter College, where he would start at 6 a.m. and continue until 7 p.m. His manager at the time was a Chinese man named Joe.
B-Red admitted that he had lied on his application for the chef position, as it required a culinary arts degree. However, his skills in the kitchen proved exceptional, and despite the company eventually requesting his degree after a few months, they never questioned him due to his outstanding abilities.
In addition to his chef job, B-Red took on multiple other jobs simultaneously, totaling six in number. He and his brother Shina Rambo even resorted to selling CDs to generate income, as their family was unsupportive of their musical pursuits.
