Nigerian singer Skales has revealed that he has received threats after speaking out against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). He had previously complained about alleged oppression by the EFCC, describing how armed agency operatives had forcefully entered his home and falsely accused him of being involved in fraudulent activities.
Skales explained that during the incident, he was subjected to harassment in front of his wife and six-month-old baby, leading to a panic attack due to his health difficulties. He also mentioned that his producer was injured during the altercation.
In a recent post on his social media handle, Skales expressed concern for his safety, suggesting that he had been threatened following his revelation about his ordeal with the EFCC operatives.
The ‘Shake Body’ crooner wrote, “I was just threatened for speaking out now.”
