Ileri Oluwa Aloba’s widow, Wunmi, has revealed that she has been receiving death threats and is now wearing a face mask when she goes out.
She said that Mohbad had showered before his death and asked for the air conditioner to be turned on in his room, but it did not work, so he was rushed to his son’s room.
She said that she had been in the kitchen when she saw the nurse giving him the injection and heard Mohbad telling the nurse to take away the syringe. “I’ve been getting death threats and I’m wearing a face mask whenever I go out,” she said.
Mohbad’s mother said that he died in his room in the afternoon on Tuesday, 12 September 2023, hours before he was declared dead due to previous incidents of bullying, psychological harm, and an arrest by the National Drug Enforcement Agency.
She went on to tell the coroner that they had to rush him to the hospital at that point. He was in the back seat of the car, she said, when the driver said his hands were already cold.
