Film director Tunde Olaoye praised Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele on Twitter following the premiere of her film, A Tribe of Judah.
Following the release of her new film, “A Tribe of Judah,” Funke Akindele closed the theaters yesterday. A number of celebs were spotted there to lend their support.
Among the many celebrities who shone at the event were film diva Nse Ikpe-Etim and Funke Akindele.
Boma Akpore, Tania Omotayo, Nosa Rex, Ruth Kadiri, Yvonne Jegede, Ini Dima-Okojie, Sharon Ooja, Shaffy Bello, and Hild Dokubo—who was costumed as a priestess—were among the others who attended.
Reacting to the movie, Tunde Olaoye disclosed that he hasn’t gotten over the movie he watched yesterday while applauding Funke for a great masterpiece.
He tweeted, “Only @funkeakindele can beat Funke Akindele in this game, A Tribe Called Judah has every element you want in a movie with a money-back guarantee. I have not recovered from that masterpiece from a Nollywood Maestro.”
