Nigerian superstar singer Teniola Apata, commonly known as Teni, has revealed that she wants her family and loved ones to inscribe “She lived life on her own terms” on her grave when she passes away.
Teni shared this wish during her appearance on the Tea With Tay podcast hosted by actor Temisan Emmanuel Ahwieh, also known as Taymesan. She emphasized the importance of self-expression and living life on one’s own terms.
The singer discussed her own life experiences, including the loss of her father when she was just two years old. She stressed that life goes on after someone passes away and that it’s crucial to express oneself and not be afraid to do so.
Teni expressed her desire to leave a legacy of having lived her life authentically and with happiness. She emphasized the idea of dying empty, suggesting that people should not hold back their talents and dreams but instead share them with the world.
Her wish to have “She lived life on her own terms” on her grave reflects her commitment to embracing life fully and encouraging others to do the same, rather than living in fear or conforming to the expectations of others.
