Renowned vocalist Simi has taken to social media to shed light on the reason behind the delay in having a second child after giving birth to her first, Adejare Kosoko.
Simi and her husband, singer Adekunle Gold, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Adejare, in May 2020.
In a recent video shared online featuring Simi and her daughter Adejare, the “Duduke” hitmaker candidly opened up about the factors affecting her decision to not have another child yet. She revealed that her body went through changes after giving birth to Adejare, and one of the consequences was an issue with her eyesight.
Simi elaborated that since the birth of Adejare, she has been grappling with a worsening eye defect. She shared that she had visited a clinic three months prior, and a doctor had recommended wearing glasses as a corrective measure for her eye problem.
