Burna Boy, the Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, has credited his younger sister, Ronami Ogulu, for being the driving force behind his recent sold-out concert at the London Stadium.
As previously reported today, Burna Boy made history as the first African artist to sell out the 80,000-capacity London Stadium on Saturday.
Following the show, a viral video captured Burna Boy carrying his younger sister, Ronami, on his back. In response, Burna Boy took to his Instagram Story to express his admiration for his sister’s contribution to the event’s success.
He stated that Ronami deserved to be carried on his back because the concert was her vision. He acknowledged the tremendous effort she put in behind the scenes to ensure the event’s success.
Burna Boy wrote, “Well done @r0nami e reach to carry you!!! This show was wild behind the scenes!!! I know the stress you went through!! The whole thing was your vision. It was amazing seeing it come to life. I’m so proud of you.”
