Professionally known as Aisha Buhari, Aisha Muhammadu Halilu Buhari (born 17 February 1971) is a well-known Nigerian beauty therapist, activist, and cosmetologist.
She is the wife of Nigeria’s current president, General Muhammadu Buhari, and she is absolutely stunning.
She founded the Aisha Buhari Foundation and the Future Assured Program. Essentials of Beauty Therapy: A Comprehensive Guide for Beauty Specialists was another book she authored.

Early Life and Education
Nigerian First Lady Aisha Buhari was born on February 17, 1971, in Adamawa State. The names of her five brothers and sisters are Zainab Umar Shinkafi, Musa Halilu Ahmed, Usman Halilu, Modi Halilu, and Hameed Halilu. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Halilu and her grandfather is known as Alhaji Muhammadu Ribadu.
She completed both elementary and secondary education in Adamawa State. In addition, she attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU), where she got a degree in public administration.
Then she went to the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna, to earn her master’s degree in international affairs and strategic studies.
Besides her law degree, she also holds a beauty therapy certificate from the prestigious Carlton Institute of Beauty Therapy in Windsor, England. She was well-known in the Carlton area for her skill with microdermabrasion, mesotherapy, and permanent makeup.
She also has a master’s degree in cosmetology and beauty from the French Academy Esthetigue Beauty Institute. She is currently studying codependency therapy in the UK.
She is the founder of the Hanzy Spa and the director of the Hanzy Beauty Institute. She has spent over 15 years in the cosmetics industry but had to temporarily stop working in the field due to her new position as an official.
In addition, she helps the National Board for Technical Education with its beauty therapy and cosmetology standards (NBTE).

The Women’s Foundation of Aisha Buhari
She is a strong supporter of equal rights for women and girls. She is a vocal critic of homophobia, violence against women, and marriage before the age of 18.
That’s why she started the Aisha Buhari Foundation to help women and kids in Nigeria.
Through her foundation, she also launched the Future Assured Program.
The Future Assured Initiative seeks to put a stop to domestic violence, maternal depression, and other challenges. In essence, it was founded with the goal of advancing the rights of women and children through campaigning.
She has helped women in several ways via countless gestures of compassion. For instance, she constructed the fully operational maternity ward at Daura General Hospital. She has paid for numerous pediatric surgeries and treatments.
She fed the hungry in Katsina State and awarded scholarships to over sixty orphans in Daura. Additionally, she empowered an additional 2000 women in Adamawa State this year.
Additionally, she launched the Green School Agricultural Initiative at Yola’s Aliyu Mustafa College. It was Aisha Buhari’s upbringing in the North, where women were systematically excluded from educational opportunities, that inspired her to fight for gender equality.
