The “Homecoming” concert organized by Pascal Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, an alumnus of Lagos State University (LASU) and a renowned dancer, was reportedly disrupted by suspected cultists. The incident occurred on Thursday at the university campus.
According to reports, the hoodlums invaded the venue during the concert, causing chaos and resulting in injuries to several attendees. Photos and videos shared on social media depicted the aftermath of the attack.
Bella Shmurda, a well-known singer and also an alumnus of LASU, was among the victims of the incident.
Poco Lee, the host of the concert, expressed his dismay about the situation in a video. He voiced his concern about the impact this incident could have on future events and expressed disappointment in the unruly behavior of the hoodlums.
He said, “What is happening? How are the guest artists going to return next time? It doesn’t make sense. I promised you that all the artists would be here, and they are all present. But these guys [the hoodlums] don’t listen.”
