Funke Akindele, a renowned Nollywood actress and producer, has responded to critics who took issue with her post on Threads, a text-based app similar to Twitter recently launched by Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook.
Upon joining the app, Funke Akindele shared pictures of herself displaying her outfit and expressing her love for shoes. In her post, she simply wrote, “I love shoes.”
However, her post received negative feedback from some users who criticized her for being immature.
Undeterred by the criticism, Funke Akindele confidently responded by stating, “I can write anything I like. After all, it’s my thread.”
Her response indicates that she is unaffected by the backlash and is asserting her freedom to express herself as she pleases on the platform.
