
The State House of Assembly in Osun has released the list of 25 nominees for the executive cabinet, as submitted by the state governor, Ademola Adeleke. The Speaker of the House, Adewale Egbedun, read out the list during the plenary session on Friday, July 7, 2023.
The list of nominees includes individuals such as Bar. Oladosu Babatunde, Bayo Ogungbamgbe, Sesan Ephraim Oyedele, Bar. Kolap Alimi, Soji Ajeigbe, Moshood Olalekan Olagunju, George Alabi, Sunday Olufemi Oroniyi, Abiodun Bankole Ojo, Dr. Bashir Tokunbo Salami, Moruf Ayofe, Sola Ogungbile, Rev. Bunmi Jenyo, and Ayo Awolowo.
Others on the list are Barr. Woke Bada, Dipo Eluwole, Rasheed Aderibigbe, Prof. Moruf Ademola Adeleke, Adeyemo Festus Ademola, Olaniyi Anthony Odunlade, Bar. Jola Akintola, Mayowa Adejorin, Adenike Folasade Adeleke, Tola Faseru, and Gani Ayobami Olaoluwa.
Egbedun instructed the nominees to submit 35 copies of their credentials to the screening committee by Tuesday, July 11, 2023. The screening process will take place on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at 10 am.
Furthermore, the nominees are required to provide a list of their assets to the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) and present evidence of their assets during the screening.
The screening committee for the nominees will be chaired by Akinyode Oyewusi, with members including Kofoworola Adewumi, Kanmi Ajibola, Elisha Akinyemi Oderinwale, Olaide Ajibola, Sanmi Areoye, and Sikiru Bajepade.
