Ayodele Fayose, the former Governor of Ekiti State, has assured Nigerians that he would not hesitate to hold President Bola Tinubu accountable if he fails to fulfill his campaign promises. Fayose made this statement after a meeting with Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Despite expressing support for the incumbent administration, Fayose emphasized that he has always spoken positively about the President. He expressed optimism that the current government would provide the desired governance for Nigerians.
Fayose acknowledged that if Tinubu deviates from his promises, he would not hesitate to openly address the matter. He asserted that he is not timid and does not shy away from facing challenges.
However, after meeting with Tinubu, Fayose stated that he had seen a man who has good intentions for Nigeria. He commended Tinubu’s actions since the government’s inauguration on May 29, expressing his belief that Tinubu genuinely wants the best for the country.
Fayose assured the public that he would hold Tinubu accountable if he fails to deliver on his promises, but acknowledged the positive intentions he has observed in Tinubu’s actions so far.
