Nigerian celebrity chef, Hilda Baci, has been recognized by the Guinness World Records (GWR) as the ‘protector of the cookathon’ for her recent achievement of the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
After a thorough review of the footage, GWR officially announced on June 13th that Hilda Baci had set a new record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
Baci, who hails from Akwa-Ibom, received her Guinness World Record plaque on Monday for her remarkable cooking marathon that lasted 93 hours and 11 minutes.
To commemorate the achievement, she shared an official portrait on Tuesday, posing proudly with her GWR plaque. In her tweet, she referred to herself as “Hilda Effiong Bassey, First Of Her Name, Breaker of Records.”
GWR acknowledged her post by retweeting it and added their own title, declaring her as the ‘protector of the cookathon.’
It is a significant recognition of Baci’s outstanding accomplishment and her dedication to the culinary world.
