Hilda Effiong Bassey, popularly known as Hilda Baci, has expressed her excitement after Guinness World Records officially certified her as the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
Following the announcement by Guinness World Records, Hilda retweeted the certification statement and exclaimed, “This is the best news ever omg omg omg thank you so much.”
However, Guinness World Records clarified that they deducted seven hours from Hilda Baci’s initially reported 100-hour record. This adjustment was made because she inadvertently took extra minutes for one of her rest breaks early on during the attempt. As a result, her official record was revised to 93 hours and 11 minutes, instead of the previously stated 100 hours.
